Phi Beta Epsilon

Founded as a local fraternity right in the center of campus, Phi Beta Epsilon consists of a house of men who share a deep commitment to excellence in every facet of campus life and beyond.

Besides being known for our social scene and for throwing the best parties on campus, our brothers are leaders in a variety of organizations across the Institute, including Sloan Business Club, Varsity Athletics, the Interfraternity Council, and the Undergraduate Association.

PBEs have a wide variety of interests, from computer science and finance to nuclear physics and aerospace engineering. We have athletes from almost every varsity sports team, and a well connected alumni network spanning across top firms in every industry. Our current brothers have started their own companies, explored venture capital, quant trading, software engineering, investment banking, consulting, AI research, mechanical engineering, and of course, UROPing all across MIT. We also have a strong inclination to give back to the communities we inhabit. In 2020, PBE was the only organization to have a director in both of the large service-oriented clubs (Camp Kesem and Amphibious Achievement).

Don’t hesitate to come meet us, as you search for an MIT community to call home.
