What is the Philanthropy Carnival?

The MIT Interfraternity Council invites the entire MIT and Cambridge community to our biggest philanthropy event of the season! Whether you’re taking a break from your studies or in town enjoying the Head of the Charles, come join us for an afternoon of classic carnival fun, all for a great cause. This year we are donating to Boston Area Rape Crisis Center: BARCC!

You can buy tickets and unlimited play wristbands on Sunday starting at $5!

Come and enjoy some of these fun activities with the entire MIT Community:

  • Dunk Tank: Take your best shot at dunking fraternity leaders and other special guests!

  • BBQ & Treats: Enjoy a full BBQ, drinks, fresh cotton candy, and a delicious bake sale with goods from chapters.

  • Photobooth: Grab your friends and some fun props to capture the perfect fall memory!

  • Tug-of-War: Assemble your team and compete for ultimate bragging rights.

  • Field Day Games: Challenge your friends to Spikeball, Cornhole, Kan Jam, and more.

  • Gummy Worm Counting Contest: Think you have the best approximation skills on campus? Guess the number of gummy worms in the jar to win a prize!

  • Live Music: Great tunes all afternoon to keep the energy high.

  • Donation Competition: Support your favorite chapter as they compete to raise the most for charity.
