Dr. Settles (PhD) discusses the various challenges faced by women in the workplace, especially in STEM (perceptions, salary and promotions, access to resources, sexual harassment, and many more issues). She then describes some protective factors for these women: generally identifying as women-scientists and utilizing their full agency.
